Ahead of the festive season, Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 edition. The motorcycle benefits from a progressive design. In addition to this, the Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 also gets enhancements in connectivity and equipment. With this new 2.0 edition of the Xtreme 160R Stealth, Hero will aim to add another chapter to the motorcycle’s success story.

Key Highlights Of The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 design will attract today’s smart generation. Staying true to the Xtreme brand, the motorcycle represents character and comfort in their everyday city ride. Given the rise of tech-savvy customers, the motorcycle uses “Hero Connect”. This smart mobility device lets riders stay connected, allowing them to trace live locations.

Hero has confirmed that the Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 is now available at Hero MotoCorp showrooms across the country. The company has put on an asking price of INR 1,29,738 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the motorcycle.

Performance Figure

Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 edition uses the 163cc air-cooled BS-VI-compliant engine. This engine also features XSens technology and advanced Programmed-Fuel-Injection. The power output of this engine reads as 15.2 PS at 6500 RPM. With the given mechanicals, the motorcycle can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.

Design Language

The mysterious matte black shade that uses striking red accents on the telescopic fork, frame, and pillion grip adds to its unique appearance. The new belly shroud further enhances Xtreme’s road presence. Thus, the new Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 has a more distinctive presence.

Connectivity Features

The embedded Hero Connect app adds a host of connectivity features to the motorcycle. First is the Geo-Fence alert. This sends an app notification whenever the vehicle leaves or arrives at predefined places of interest. Then we have Speed Alert, which sends an app notification every time the vehicle crosses the speed limit set by the rider.

With the Toppling Alert, in case the vehicle topples, the rider gets an app notification and SMS to the registered Mobile and emergency contact numbers. Another feature is the Tow Away Alert, which sends alerts for any unauthorized vehicle activity. Finally, with the Unplug alerts, one can know if the device has been unplugged and if the rider needs to intervene.
