Hero MotoCorp has launched the new 2018 Super Splendor in India priced at Rs. 57,190 (ex-showroom). Leader in the segment, the new Super Splendor will now be available across all Hero MotoCorp dealerships.
Hero MotoCorp is targeting the new Super Splendor for young professionals who need a reliable commuter with decent amount of performance. Trust, reliability and fuel efficiency is something that all Hero MotoCorp products bring to the table. Every 2nd motorcycle sold in the country is a Hero product. With more than 55% market share in the 125cc segment, the new Super Splendor is expected to create a stronger hold.
Powering the 2018 Hero MotoCorp Super Splendor is a 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC, torque-on-demand motor producing 11.4 PS of power @ 7500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque @ 6000 RPM. The engine also gets I3S (Idle Stop & Start System) technology for saving fuel. The latest bike now offers 27% more power and 6% more torque than the older model and has a top speed of 94 kmph.
In terms of features, the bike comes with AHO, side-stand indicator, side reflector, new seat profile, wider rear tyre, bigger under seat storage, side utility box with lock, chrome finish on muffler, new tail light and refreshed colour and graphics. The 2018 Hero MotoCorp Super Splendor will be available in 5 colours – Black + Purple, Black with Fiery Red, Black with Silver, Candy Blazing Red & Heavy Gret.
