Hero MotoCorp launches Maestro Edge 125 Stealth Edition

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Maestro Edge 125 Stealth at the price of INR 72,950 ex-showroom, India. A new exclusive Matt Grey theme targeted towards the generation-next riders. The new Stealth edition with cosmetic upgrades to the motorcycle and features tha same BS6 compliant powertrain that was launcehd before the new emission norms rolled out in the country. The Stealth Edition is INR 3,700 more expensive than the base variant – Self Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel – Fi and INR 1,500 more expensive than the Self Start Disc Brake Alloy Wheel – Fi. The Stealth Edition is based on the latter. 

The new Maestro Edge 125 Stealth comes with a premium ‘Stealth’ crest badging, textured strips that replicates bespoke carbon fibre material, tone-on-tone stripes on the body, bold ‘125’ badging on the side along with white accents giving the scooter a contemporary look. The new edition scooters comes with a dark theme and features black mirror housing and alloy wheels. 

The Hero Maestro 125 Stealth is powered by a BS6 compliant 125cc Air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine that comes with Programmed Fuel Injection and X-Sens technology. The engine produces 9 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque mated to a Variomatic drive (automatic) with dry centrifugal clutch. The scooter also comes with highlights such as an LED daytime running light on its front fascia, Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function, digital-analogue combination instrument console with trip and service reminder, side stand indicator, a combination key-lock, external fuel filler, an under-seat luggage compartment with boot light and mobile charging port, front luggage hook, tubeless tyres, dual-texture ergonomic seats etc. 

The Hero Maestro Edge 125 is also available in Panther Black (Black & Red), Pearl Fadeless White, Matte Brown, Matte Techno Blue, Matte Vernier Grey and Matte Red. The BS6 Maestro Edge 125 is also offered with a purple iridescent paint which changes its shade with sunlight. Hero Motocorp call this the Prismatic Paint technology.
