Hero MotoCorp launches HF Deluxe with 100cc BS6 engine for 55,925

Hero MotoCorp is the largest player in the commuter two-wheeler space, and staying true to this statement, the brand has launched the first 100c BS6 motorcycle for the Indian market. The Hero MotoCorp HF Deluxe BS6 will be available in showrooms since January 2020 and will be sold in a self-start + alloy wheel variant for INR 55,925 ex-showroom while the variant with additional i3S system will cost INR 57,250 ex-showroom. Dealer dispatch for the Hero MotoCorp HF Deluxe BS6 variant will begin soon, following the Splendor iSmart which has also received a BS6 powerplant. In the motorcycle segment, Hero MotoCorp has a massive 60% market share, and the brand will soon introduce all of its product portfolio with the updated BS6 engine. The HF Deluxe has been designed and developed in-house by Hero MotoCorp. The HF Deluxe has already crossed the 2 million sales mark and has a market share of 2/3rd in the segment.

Hero MotoCorp claims 9% higher mileage and the BSVI motor benefits with a fuel-injection system. Powering the bike is a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled block producing 7.94 BHP @ 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm @ 6000 RPM matched to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine will also deliver 6% better acceleration than before and it comes with 10 sensors to monitor it all, for example, the air fuel mixture is adjusted real-time. The motorcycle also has a variant which features idle-start-stop-system to save fuel.

The HF Deluxe has 165mm of ground clearance and wheelbase of 1235mm. The bike rides on a steel tubular chassis and comes with features such as alloy wheels and combi-brakes.

Hero MotoCorp will offer the BS6 HF Deluxe model in black + red, black + purple, black + grey, blue and grey + green body colour options with new graphics.
