Hero MotoCorp launches Destini 125 ‘Platinum’ at INR 72,050

Hero MotoCorp, the world largest two-wheeler manufacturer adds yet another addition to its lineup of products. This time, the two-wheeler company announces the launch of Destini 125 Platinum. Destini 125 has always been a successful product from Hero MotoCorp and to make it more appealing and attractive for the customers, the company introduced this new edition.

What Are The New Changes?

This Platinum version of Destini 125 gets a new design and theme elements that improve the overall outlook of the scooter. The key highlighting additions are, signature LED guide lamp, premium badging, sheet metal body with the new black and chrome theme. The use of chrome handlebars matched to chrome mirrors give the scooter a retro look. The special edition gets a premium 3D Logo of Platinum Badging, coloured seat with Platinum Hot Stamping as the differentiating touches when compared to the regular trim. Recently, the company launched a special edition of Destini to celebrate the remarkable achievement of crossing the 100th million production milestone of Hero MotoCorp. With the updated design, Hero MotoCorp will look to lure in more customers to the showrooms.

Engine and Mechanicals

Destini 125 Platinum shares the same engine as the regular Destini 125, which is a 125 cc BS-VI compliant single-cylinder motor that produces 9 BHP of power and 10.4 Nm of torque. It also gets smart tech features like an idle-stop-start system which is a great addition to enhance fuel efficiency and comfort, a digital-analogue speedometer, ‘service due’ reminder, a side-stand indicator and more.

Colour and Price Details

The Platinum edition gets the new matt black colour with brown inner panels and a white rim tape which does make it more attractive than the regular trim. Hero MotoCorp has put on a generous price tag of INR 72,050 (ex-showroom) for the Platinum edition of the Destini 125 whereas the regular trim retails at a starting price of INR 68,343. This edition will further increase the scooter range of Hero MotoCorp giving the customers more options to choose from.
