Hero MotoCorp extends free service, AMC & warranty period in India

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle maker, extends the duration of free service, AMC services and warranty. This decision comes following the other automotive companies who also made similar announcements in recent weeks. The main reason to extend the services is due to people’s restricted movement due to the ongoing pandemic. Hero MotoCorp understands that all the customers are stuck at home, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Hence most of them are missing their last date for availing free service and warranty. But, to help the customers to overcome this, Hero MotoCorp announced the services that were getting exhausted during the continuous period would get an extension of 60 days. This adds up as a flexible and convenient option for the customers in these unprecedented times.

Services Included In This Announcement

Hero MotoCorp made clear about the services which come under this extension program. The list includes all services under Joyride, all scheduled free services, and all vehicles for which the warranty is expiring. To help and encourage its customers to stay at home, Hero MotoCorp launched various online services via Whatsapp.

From now on, customers will also access real-time services like service booking, post-service feedback, status check of the vehicles under service and more. The customers can also get all the details about their nearby workshops and showrooms using the easy-to-interact menu based chatbot on Whatsapp. The chatbot is accessible 24×7, which makes it quite convenient for the customers.
