Written by Parichay Malvankar

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Destini 125 in the Indian market which has been slated for its market launch soon here. The brand has updated the new Destini 125 scooter with a Neo-retro style as well as modern features that will help the bike compete in the hotly contested 125cc scooter segment.

Design

In the design department, the Hero Destini 125 offers the alpha family a style statement and is also capable of performing day-to-day commute duties. The Destini 125 features 3 unbroken lines which can be visualized from the profile and it has come a long way from the first model which was launched in 2018. And even though the design is new, it still claims to be memorable thanks to its timeless cuts and crease lines.

The harmonic design of the Destini 125 also incorporates an H-shape on the fascia as well as on the front light signatures. This H-shaped signature also appears on the taillamp, allowing anyone to easily identify the Destini 125 from afar. The brand has also taken an extra step and incorporated the DESTINI word mark in a mirror print on the front chrome element.

The Destini 125 also gets plenty of chrome and bronze toned elements (depending on the variant) all around. This includes the front nose, the mirror housings, the tail section as well as the chrome exhaust muffler cover. Thanks to the chrome and bronze elements, the Destini 125 gets a premium look.

Powertrain

Powering the Destini 125 is a 124.6cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 9 Bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of torque matched to a CVT automatic gearbox. The fuel injected scooter also comes with a telescopic front fork suspension as well as a mono shock on the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels which enhances the balance of the scooter as well as allows more ground clearance so you can drive over bad roads with ease.
