Hero MotoCorp could launch Mavrick 440 Scrambler motorcycle

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Hero MotoCorp has just begun delivering its latest Mavrick 440 motorcycle. Now, the brand could be planning to bring a scrambler version of it sometime in the near future. The Scrambler and mildly off-road type vehicles have become quite popular in the Indian market and the brand could planning to capitalise that with its upcoming product. According to reports, Hero MotoCorp has filed for the ‘Mavrick 440 Scrambler’ word mark. The trademark application is likely to have been registered on 14 March 2024 and the user details reveal that the wordmark is ‘proposed to be used’.

Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440 Scrambler – What to Expect?

The name leads us to believe that Hero MotoCorp could be planning to bring a modified version of the Mavrick 440. Expect a wider more raised handlebar along with a cross brace, a larger front wheel a dual sport tyres. In addition to this, the brand is also likely to offer a knuckle protectors and fork gaiters on the Scrambler version of the motorcycle. However, any significant change to the suspension, engine, and frame is highly unlikely. The brand could offer some accessories with the Scrambler model.

Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440 – Specifications

Powering the Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440 is a 440cc single-cylinder engine. The engine makes 27 Bhp of power and 36 Nm of torque matched to a six-speed gearbox. The brand could slightly alter the state of tune of the engine on the Scrambler version, however, no significant changes are likely.

Another possibility is that Hero MotoCorp could be just registering the name to protect its intellectual property for the future. Sometimes brand file trademarks just for the sake of it or to export the vehicle with the name  to other countries. Currently, information on the same is scarce and we will bring you the latest updates soon.
