Hero Electric partners with GoWash, Door-step Auto Detailing service

India’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Electric has partnered with a Nagpur-based professional mobile auto detailing service, GoWash to provide sustainable & Eco-Friendly Wash at a minimal cost. GoWash provides professional auto detailing services at a modest pocket-friendly rate and employs state-of-the-art technology and techniques.

The GoWash professionals will ride the Hero Electric NYX HS500 ER, equipped with a dedicated compartment box fitted at the rear end, for equipment & tools, which will help the washing professionals provide doorstep service to the customer. The Hero Electric scooter reflects with the GoWash’s Sustainable & Eco-Friendly mantra as the zero-emission mobility solution is carbon neutral. The e-Scooter would also prove to be efficient to carry out a no waste wash process and maintains all the environmental norms. 

GoWash has also rolled out a smartphone application through which customers can book the auto detailing service. GoWash also offers services such as Coating Services in Ceramic and PU at a nominal price. GoWash GoWash aims to start with 12 washing vehicles and provide service to 1500 customers in September 2020. Later, they will be deploying 50 washing vehicles and aim at providing service to 6000 customers by November 2020 in Nagpur city. The brand also aims to expand the service in Bengaluru City by 2021. 

GoWash has also announced that the brand is providing employment opportunities to people below the age of 28 years and recognizes its importance. Furthermore, the brand also announced that in the post-COVID era, when employment has been severely hit, GoWash will ensure that washing partners receive a minimum pay of INR 12,000 per month even on days with no business. 

In other news, Hero Electric announced that the electric mobility brand already commands a market share of 45% in the balance category of electric two-wheelers giving it the top position in the electric two-wheeler segment. The brand has reported that even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has reported that it engaged with over 40,000 customers resulting in a six-fold increase in its online sales over the previous year within in the first four months of 2020-21.
