Written by Akhil Dalvi

One of India’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturers, Hero Electric, has announced Cruise Control functionality for its new Optima HX e-scooter. Once the rider activates cruise control, the e-scooter will notify the rider via the upgraded speedometer for a smooth riding experience. The new Cruise Control feature will enable the rider to maintain a constant speed while riding, offering comfort and convenience.

Whilst maintaining a constant speed, riders can brake or twist the throttle to deactivate the system at any given moment. Hero Electric offers the Optima HX e-scooter in single or dual battery options and three colours- Grey, Blue, and White. The single battery variant costs INR 55,580 (ex-showroom), whereas the double battery variant costs INR 65,640 (ex-showroom).
