Hero Electric launches Optima CX & NYX e-scooters

Hero Electric is currently India’s largest electric two-wheeler company. It has launched the new Optima series of electric scooters. The new range comes with a well-tuned powertrain that aims to set a new benchmark of excellence in the industry. And the sticker price for the new Optima series starts from INR 85,000 Ex-showroom. With this new range, Hero Electric promises a practical package of durability and performance.

What’s New In The Hero Optima 2023?

Hero Electric has brought in the new Optima range of scooters with 3 different variants. These are, namely, the Optima CX5.0 (Dual Battery), Optima CX2.0 (Single Battery), and NYX (Dual Battery). This new range gets German ECU technology thus offering a precise performance. To add to the seamless performance, Hero Electric has also added hibernating battery technology and a dynamically synchronised powertrain. Moreover, the EV maker has also integrated a new range of scooters with built-in software. This enables better vehicular diagnostics, including remote maintenance, ultimate battery life protection, and increased charging efficiency.

Hero Optima: Colour Options and Price Range

The newly launched Optima range of scooters is available in a slew of colour options. Customers can have the Optima CX 5.0 in Dark Matt Blue and Matt Maroon. Meanwhile, the Optima CX2.0 is available in Dark Matt Blue and Charcoal Black colour options. The NYX model is available in two colours namely, Charcoal Black and Pearl White. These scooters provide both comfort and optimum speed for city driving. The price range falls in the range of INR 85,000 to 95,000 for the comfort range and INR 1,05,000 to 1,30,000 for the city speed range.

As the days pass, customers are now more than willing to opt for EVs in India. Spotting an electric scooter or car is not that difficult in today’s time. And the sales of EVs will grow even stronger from here. Hero Electric currently the largest EV maker in the country has a big role to play.
