Hero Electric & Even Cargo to deploy 10,000 women-only delivery EV fleet by 2025

Hero Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler brand, has announced its partnership with Even Cargo. As a part of this collaboration, Hero Electric will aid Even Cargo in creating the first-ever women-only delivery EV fleet. The company will bring over 10,000 women riders by the year 2025. The initiative is a great move to empower women and create employment opportunities. Hero Electric confirmed that the fleet will be allocated across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. In the long run, this initiative will also help Hero Electric achieve its vision of offering sustainable livelihoods across India.

Hero Electric To Provide Training

All the 10,000 women riders that form a part of this initiative will get on-demand special training sessions. These training sessions will prepare the women to check the road readiness of the vehicle, repairs, and other basic know-how. In addition to this, Hero Electric will also ensure the support of reliable financial institutions associated with Hero Electric to women with no credit history with assured bank accounts. Hero Electric has put on a target to achieve a 65 per cent share in the B2B market. This is an ambitious figure, and the company is working hard to build relationships that will help them realise the target.
