Harley-Davidson X440 now available in new colours & badges

Harley-Davidson has launched new colors and badges on the 2024 Harley-Davidson X440 in the Indian market. The 2024 Harley-Davidson X440 comes with 3 new colours – Goldfish Silver, Mustard and Baja Orange. The Goldfish Silver and Mustard colourway is available on the Vivid trim of the X440 and the Baja Orange is available on the top-of-the-line S trim. In addition to the new colours, the brand has also launched new 3D tank medallions on the Vivid trim of the X440.

Price and Colours

The new Goldfish Silver in the Vivid trim comes with a price tag of INR 2,59,500 ex-showroom, while the Mustard colourway is available with the same price tag. But, the new Baja Orange in the S trim comes with a higher price tag of INR 2,79,500 ex-showroom. However, the brand also continues to retail the previous colour options which includes the Mustard in the entry-level Denim trim at a price of INR 2,39,500 ex-showroom. The Vivid range also includes the Metallic Dark Silver and the Metallic Thick Red colour options at the same price of INR 2,59,500 ex-showroom. The top-spec S trim also gets the Matte Black colour option with a price tag of INR 2,79,500 ex-showroom.

Engine and Features

In the mechanical department, the Harley-Davidson X440 remains unchanged and is powered by the same engine and comes with the same cycle parts. Powering the HD X440 is a 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine producing 27 PS of power and 38 Nm of torque which comes at 4000 rpm. The engine air-oil-cooled engine is matched to a 6-speed transmission and claims to return a fuel economy of 35 kmpl. In the riding dynamics department, the X440 comes with 36-degree lean angle limit on both right and left side and the bike rides on KYB 43mm upside down dual cartridge front fork and a 7-step adjustable gas-filled twin rear shocks. Feature wise, the bike also comes with a 3.5-inch TFT instruments cluster with Maps support, Music control via Bluetooth connectivity and full LED lighting.
