Hero MotoCorp expands its customer touchpoints and service centre for Harley-Davidson. Currently, Hero MotoCorp has a network of 14 full-fledged dealerships and 7 authorized service centres exclusively for Harley-Davidson customers. The American motorcycle maker is now aiming to resume the H.O.G (Harley Owners Group) events. If all goes well, Harley-Davidson will hold the next annual Rally in Goa, scheduled between 3rd to 5th February 2022.

The brand is already quite popular in the country, as evident from the reception Harley-Davidson got for its Pan America 1250. Harley-Davidson has completely sold out the first batch, and now Harley-Davidson has opened bookings for the 2nd lot. The other 13 existing models of Harley-Davidson are now open for bookings as well. With this partnership with Hero MotoCorp, Harley-Davidson will ensure a smooth and hassle-free ownership experience.

Pan America 1250 – Key Highlights

The Pan America 1250 is the first adventure touring motorcycle of the brand. This motorcycle will arrive in India as a CBU (Completely Built-Up). Bookings for this motorcycle are now open across all Harley-Davidson dealerships in India. The Pan America 1250 motorcycle is a technologically advanced multi-purpose explore motorcycle. The machine gets all the equipment that inspires rider confidence and enhances the spirit of adventure.

Engine and Mechanicals

Powering the motorcycle is a new 150 HP Revolution Max 1250 engine. To reduce the motorcycle’s weight, Harley-Davidson has integrated the engine into the vehicle as a stressed member of the chassis. The use of aluminium cast wheels (19-inches and 17-inches) is suitable for equally paved and unpaved roads. One of the key highlights of this motorcycle is its Adaptive Ride height suspension system. This system has the capability to transition between a low stopped position and optimal ride height as per the motion of the rider and motorcycle.

Price Details

Harley-Davidson has put on a sticker price of INR 16,90,000 (ex-showroom) for the Pan America 1250 model. Meanwhile, the Pan America 1250 Special retails at INR 19,99,000 (ex-showroom).
