GT Force low speed electric scooters launched in India

GT Force has announced the launch of 2 new low-speed electric scooters for the Indian market. These new models are the GT Soul Vegas and the GT Drive Pro. The company says that as an e2W start-up, the company established the GT Force with the primary goal of revolutionizing and transforming the adoption of electric mobility in India. And now, in the process of providing electric mobility at an affordable price, GT Force has launched two new scooters.

GT Force New Low-Speed Scooters – Variants & Prices

The two new models – GT Soul Vegas and GT Drive Pro, are available with either a lead-acid battery pack or a Lithium-ion battery pack.

Pricing for the GT Soul Vegas starts at INR 47,370 ex-showroom for the Lead-Acid variant. Meanwhile, the GT Soul Vegas’ Lithium-ion variant retails for INR 63,641 ex-showroom.

As for the GT Drive Pro, prices start at INR 67,208 ex-showroom for the Lead-Acid variant. On the other hand, the GT Drive Pro’s Lithium-ion battery variant costs INR 82,751 ex-showroom.

GT Soul Vegas – Highlights

GT Force designed this e-scooter for short-distance travel. With its top speed of 25 kmph, it also falls in the low-speed category. The Lead-Acid variant comes with a 60V 28Ah battery pack. On the other hand, the Lithium-ion variant gets a 60V 26Ah battery. This results in a range of 50 to 60 km on the lead-acid variant and 60 to 65 km on the lithium-ion variant. There’s also a difference in charging speeds between the two variants. The lead-acid battery variant takes 7-8 hours for a full charge, while the lithium-ion one only takes 4-5 hours.

The GT Soul Vegas comes with a highly-insulated BLDC motor and a high-strength tubular frame. The Lead-Acid variant weighs 95 kg, while the Lithium-ion one weighs 88 kg. Both variants have a loading capacity of 150 kg. Additionally, it has a low seat height of 760mm, and its 170mm of ground clearance makes it ideal for Indian roads. It gets features such as an anti-theft alarm, cruise control system, reverse mode, ignition lock start, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, and dual tube technology in the rear suspension. 

The GT Soul Vegas is available in a total of 3 colour options. These are – Glossy Red, Grey and Orange. The e-scooter also comes with an 18-month motor warranty, a 1-year lead battery warranty and a 3-year lithium-ion battery warranty.

GT Drive Pro – Highlights

The company introduced the GT Drive Pro by understanding the needs of families, women, gig workers and college students. Like the GT Soul Vegas, it has a top speed of 25 kmph and falls in the low-speed category. Thus, it is aimed at short-distance travel. The Lead-Acid variant comes with a 48V 28Ah battery, while the Lithium-ion variant gets a 48V 26Ah battery. The former delivers a range of 50 to 60 km, while the latter delivers 60 to 65 km. The Lead-Acid battery variant takes 7-8 hours for a full charge, while the Lithium-ion takes only 4-5 hours. 

The GT Drive Pro uses a high-strength tubular frame and uses front hydraulic telescopic forks. At the rear, it uses a double shocker with dual-tube technology. The GT Drive Pro tips the scales at 85 kg and has a loading capacity of 140 kg. Like the GT Soul Vegas, it also has a seat height of 760mm and 170mm of ground clearance. Features include – central locking with an anti-theft alarm, parking mode, reverse mode and mobile charging with auto-cutoff. 

The GT Drive Pro is available in a total of 4 colour options. These are – White, Blue, Red & Chocolate. The motor comes with an 18-month warranty, the lead-battery comes with a 1-year warranty and the lithium-ion battery has a 3-year warranty.
