goEgoNetwork & TVS to install world’s highest EV charging station at Kaza, Spiti Valley

Electric Vehicle charging station specialist and Pune-based company goEgoNetwork has installed an electric charging station at Kaza, Spiti Valley. The EV charging specialist has installed Bharat AC and Dual Socket Type 2 chargers in Kaza, Spiti Valley. Spiti Valley is located in the Western Himalayas and is known for its picturesque yet challenging terrain. At 3,800 metres above sea level, the goEgoNetwork EV charging station has become the world’s highest EV charging station. The chargers come with a Make-in-India certification and comply with ARAI and OCA certification. 

goEgoNetwork Collaborates with TVS Motors

On 21st September 2021, TVS Motor Company organised a #mission0emission ride. The ride coincided on World Zero-Emission Day with two TVS iQube Electric scooters riding from Manali to Kaza. goEgoNetwork has also announced that the brand has collaborated with TVS Motor Company to promote the EV infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh.

The two TVS iQube electric scooters from Manali to Spiti Valley. Riding the electric scooters were Ms Maanvi Rawlley, Marketing Communication Specialist at goEgoNetwork, and Ms Pratiksha Das, motorcycle influencer from Mumbai. The treacherous Manali-Kaza route is famous for adventure biking but not so popular among the electric two-wheeler community, until now. The popular course takes bikers through the famous Kunzum-La (mountain pass). Both riders took the Manali to Kaza route via Batal. They rode the TVS iQube electric scooters over rocks, boulders, and challenging weather conditions for both humans and machines. 

TVS iQube – Overview

The TVS iQube comes with a 4.4 kW electric motor. The electric motor can propel the e-scooter to a top speed of 78 kmph. The scooter comes with a 2.25 kW battery pack that offers a claimed mileage of 75 km with a full charge. The iQube is able to recharge from 0 to 80 per cent State of Charge in about 5 hours. The scooter features LED headlights and taillights. The scooter also comes with a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The brand also offers features such as a USB charger and a 3-year/50,000 km warranty along with 1-year roadside assistance.
