Gemopai Electric, a Delhi-based e-mobility startup is a joint venture of Goreen E-Mobility and Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Opai Electric. In a recent announcement, the company will be providing Road-Side Assistance and Personal Accident cover as a complimentary add-on with purchase of every Gemopai EV. The company also mentions that the customers will also get 3 years of free service and warranty on their products. ‘Gemopai Secure’ will come with every model sold from 15th February 2021. Currently, Gemopai Electric has three products to choose from, namely Miso, Ryper, Astrid Lite.
Miso
Miso is the smallest electric scooter offering in terms of the dimension. Powering the Gemopai Miso is a 250W motor driven by a Li-Ion 48V 17.5 AH battery pack. The top speed of this EV is 35 kmph and thus this scooter does not need any RTO registration or a driving license to ride. The equipped 54.6V 4A adapter can charge the scooter to its full capacity in 3-4 hours. There are a total of 4 colours to choose from, Deep Sky Blue, Sunset Orange, Luscious Green and Fiery Red.
Ryder
Ryder is a two-seater electric scooter that comes with a 250 Watt DC motor. The battery in this scooter is a 48V/24AH which propels the scooter to a top speed of 25 kmph. The maximum load-carrying capacity is 150 kgs making it ideal for daily errands and grocery shopping. Gemopai claims that this scooter can go up to 90 km in a single charge. This scooter is available with five colours Imperial Red, Sapphire Blue, Charcoal Grey, Ivory Gold and Glossy White.
Astrid Lite
This is the flagship product form the brand. This electric scooter has a host of features like three driving modes- economy, city and sport, front disc brake, digital speedometer, LED lights with DRL, USB Charging, removable battery and more. The 2400 W rated motor is driven by a 72 V battery pack and the range claims to be around 90 km, same as the Ryder. This scooter comes with 5 colour options, Electric Neon, Fireball Orange, Fiery Red, Deep Indigo, Burnt Charcoal.
