A joint venture of New Delhi headquartered Goreen E-Mobility and Chinese company Opai Electric called Gemopai has announced a first of its kind, 3-year service warranty for all its models – Miso, Ryder and Astride Lite. The brand claims that the service warranty is one of a kind and has never been announced by any other electric scooter manufacturer. Gemopai is focused on building its fleet of Made-in-India electric models by offering schemes that will help promote the adoption of EV in the country.
The service warranty scheme is dubbed ‘Gemopai Secure’ and comes with 12 free services for up to 3 years and is valid on all Gemopai models. According to the brand, the new service warranty scheme makes Gemopai electric scooters one of the most affordable, cost-effective and eco-friendly electric mobility solutions in the segment.
Along with the 3-Year/12 service warranty, Gemopai has also offered its latest introduction the Gemopai Miso mini electric scooter with a discount of INR 2,000 valid till the 25th of July 2020. The Gemopai Miso mini electric scooter was launched a few weeks ago at the price of INR 44,000 ex-showroom and the new discount is being offered to ease the adoption of electric vehicles.
The Gemopai Miso has been launched with the intention of providing personal mobility solutions to individuals which automatically ensures social distancing when travelling and provides the rider with a relatively safe environment as compared to using public transport. The Miso not only offers benefits of social distancing but its 100% electric powertrain also ensures a reduced personal carbon footprint.
The Gemopai Miso is powered by a hub-mounted electric motor paired to a 1 kW detachable Lithium-Ion battery that provides a range of up to 75 km on a single charge and can be recharged to 90% state of charge in 2 hours time. The Miso mini electric scooter does not require a license or RTO permit and has a max speed of 25 kmph.
The Gemopai Miso is available in two options – one for daily commute offering a comfortable seat and another that is targeted towards goods carriers and last-mile delivery solutions and includes a tail rack.
