Ford enhances ‘Dial-A-Ford’ contactless initiative with Doorstep Repairs & Servicing

Ford India launched the ‘Dial-A-Ford’ a new contactless sales and service platform amidst the CoronaVirus/COVID-19 pandemic. The Dial-A-Ford system was rolled out to help ensure that the Ford customers can reach out to Ford dealerships from the safety of their home to either purchase Ford vehicles or to service an existing Ford vehicle. 

The Dial-A-Ford doorstep service can be used for small repairs as well as regular maintenance, but larger more extensive repairs still require the customer to visit Ford’s authorized service centres. The Dial-A-Ford doorstep servicing attracts no extra fees and is available at the same cost as the regular service that is performed at the service centre. 

Now the brand has expanded the Dial-A-Ford initiative and customers can not only book appointments for service at Ford’s dealerships but also provide doorstep servicing of Ford vehicles. Customers can use the dedicated centrally controlled Dial-A-Ford number to avail the desired service. 

The new extended initiative enables protection from the notoriously infectious COVID-19, shielding both the customer and the service staff as the interaction between the customer and staff is minimised through the service. 

Currently, Ford is offering the Dial-A-Ford doorstep service in 19 cities across the country, including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Lucknow. 

In addition to the doorstep service initiative, using the Dial-A-Ford service, interested buyer’s can call the centrally controlled helpline – 1800-419-3000, and connect with the Ford team to book a new vehicle as well as arrange a test drive for the same. Customers can also make payments through online channels and get the new vehicle delivered at their doorstep. 

Ford has also employed high standards of sanitisation process at all Ford dealerships. The new approach includes the sanitisation of Ford facilities as well as strict guidelines for people and vehicles. This includes all vehicles at the sales and service points to be thoroughly sanitised at the time of delivery, pick-up or drop.
