Force T1N spotted testing with camouflage, launch next week

Written by Parichay Malvankar

With the BS6 deadline approaching soon, almost every car and bike manufacturer is set to rejig and update their product portfolio. Force Motors is known for their products in the people mover segment, and spyshots have emerged on the upcoming T1N large sized van which is set to be launched in the coming days. The T1N will take some inspiration from the latest Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models, and will be a multi-row large van, or a mini-bus if you might want to call it that.

This T1N product could be a luxurious, or rather spacious 9-seater model and there can be multiple seating configurations on offer. With the best use of space made for accommodating more people, the new T1N could become a fleet operator favourite. Force Motors is known for their low cost of ownership and no-nonsense maintenance; hence, the launch of this T1N van is highly anticipated.

In terms of product positioning, the Force T1N could be placed below the bigger Traveller range of commercial vehicles. Most definitely, the new T1N will come with a BS6 compliant diesel engine matched to a manual gearbox and it could come with a rear-wheel drive configuration. For reference, one can look at the 3rd generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model which stays on sale since 2019. This one however is a front-wheel drive model and is sold in 2-door pickup, 4-door van and 4-door minibus versions. From Force Motors, for India, we expect the van and minibus body styles.

More details to be revealed during the launch.
