Force Motors has introduced the new Force Gurkha in the 3-door and 5-door variants. The new Force Gurkha comes with an updated engine and suspension. The SUV also comes with new features on the inside such as a new digital instruments cluster. The SUV also gets a new 5-door variant with upto 7-seats.
Force Motors has also announced that the bookings for the Gurkha 3-door and 5-door are now open. Interested customers can book the Gurkha SUV by putting down an amount of INR 25,000 at their nearest Gurkha dealership. Also, the new Force Gurkha website is also live from where customers can locate the nearest dealership as well as schedule a test drive.

Seating Options
The new Force Gurkha comes with the option of a 5-door variant. The new 3-row variant comes with captain seats in the 1st and 3rd rows. Also, the Gurkha 5-door offers 3-seats in the 2nd row (2-3-2) seating configuration. On the other hand, the 3-door option comes with 4-seat. The 3-door Gurkha comes with all captain seats and independent access to both rows.
Engine
The new Force Gurkha comes with a new 2.6 litre turbocharged inter-cooled diesel engine. The oil motor produces 140 PS of power and a peak torque of 320Nm. The power and torque is delivered over a wide band from 1400 to 2600 rpm, enabling the off-road SUV to cruise on expressways at triple-digit speeds. The powertrain is also powerful enough to extricate the vehicle in tricky off-road situations.
OFF-ROAD
The Gurkha also gets a new independent front suspension that claims to deliver a quality ride both on-road and off-roads. The new Gurkha comes with fully locking mechanical differentials on both axles and Electronic shift-on-the-fly. The shift-on-fly tech helps the Gurkha shift into 4WD effortlessly. The new Gurkha also comes with a ground clearance of 233mm, 18-inch wheels, 35-degree gradeability, and 700mm water-wading capability, thanks to the factory-fitted air intake snorkel.
2024 Force Gurkha – New Features
The new Force Gurkha comes with a new digital instrumentation cluster. In addition to this, the new SUV also comes with a 9-inch Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible touchscreen infotainment system. The car also comes with features such as high-intensity Force Pro-edge LED headlamps, electronically adjustable ORVMs and a start-stop function to improve efficiency. The SUV is also frontal crash-compliant, and features dual airbags, ABS, and EBD.
Force Motors will be announcing the full price list of the new Gurkha in the first week of May. This will be followed by the dispatches made to the dealerships. Deliveries to the customers are planned mid-May onwards.
