Ferrari sales on the rise in all regions

Ferrari, the world-famous luxury sports carmaker, announces its sales report for June 2021 along with the first six months ending June 30th, 2021. The carmaker sold a cumulative number of 2,685 units. This is double when compared to last year and 0.5 per cent up when compared to Q2 2019. In terms of net revenue, Ferrari made a total of Euro 1,035 million, which is double compared to last year and 5.2 per cent more compared to Q2 2019. The sales were disrupted the previous year entirely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But for this year, the demand is again picking up the pace.

Detailed Sales Breakup

The sales of the 8-cylinder models were up by 111.2 per cent, whereas the sales of 12-cylinder saw a growth of 37.6 per cent. The top-selling products in this quarter were from the F8 family and the 812 GTS together with the SF90 Stradale. The newly launched Ferrari Roma has also reached its customers across the world.

The Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 also continue to be delivered as planned. The first batch of deliveries for the new Ferrari Portofino M started from this quarter. In terms of geographic region, in Europe Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), sales were up by 89.4 per cent. The second was America with an increase of 70.3 per cent, followed by Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan with a staggering 565 per cent growth. The rest of the region that consists of the Asia-Pacific region witnessed an increase of 92.4 per cent.

Ferrari had recently unveiled the 296 GTB, the carmaker’s first V6 hybrid. This is also the car that houses Ferrari’s latest mid-rear-engined two-seater Berlinetta. Ferrari has also launched its first luxury collection. The flagship store in Maranello aims to provide the customers with a thrilling and modern shopping experience. There’s also a new restaurant in the town, called Cavallino Restaurant, which is adjacent to the factory and the store.
