Ferrari is planning to return to India in 2015. As per the current plans, the company wants to sell its range of supercars as early as the first quarter of 2015.

Ferrari will manage the Indian operations from Dubai and is in talks with two dealers, one each for Mumbai and Delhi. A team from Ferrari had visited India last month to finalise which cars are best suited for Indian conditions and also had a word with the potential dealers.

For India, Ferrari is likely to bring in the California T convertible, V-12 FF, 458 Italia, F12 Berlinetta, 458 Spider and La Ferrari. These models will cost upwards of Rs. 3.5 crore up to Rs. 7 crore after the taxes.

The primary hurdle in front of super luxury cars and sportscars which are imported are the high level of taxes. CBUs attract almost 170% of taxes and other duties making it too expensive for the Indian buyer. Still, the company find enough potential in the Indian marketplace.

Are you excited to see more of these prancing horses on the road?
