Rage+ RapidEV: Battery Technology and Charging

The EV has been jointly co-developed by Omega Seiki Mobility and Log9 Materials to fulfil the requirements of Indian customers. The companies offer both variants of the Rage+ RapidEV with RapidX 6000 fast-charging batteries to prevent range anxiety. The flagship ‘InstaCharge’ technology developed by ‘Log 9 Materials’, enables the EV to charge completely within 35 minutes. The optimal design of the batteries enables it to tackle Indian weather conditions and temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C.

Along with providing 40,000 charge-discharge cycles, the batteries also offer 10+ years of life with 90+ Km of range. The Rage+ RapidEV caters to India’s B2B last-mile cargo and delivery segment thanks to these features. Omega Seiki Mobility also offers an INR 1 lakh buyback guarantee towards the Rage+ RapidEV within five years post-purchase. As a first for the Indian market, the buyback guarantee aims to solve the resale value challenges faced by EVs.

Along with a 5-year vehicle and 6-year battery warranty, Log 9 offers its customers an ‘InstaCharge on Demand’ facility. This facility enables customers to order an EV charging service via a phone call based on their current location. Log 9’s new ‘InstaCharge App’ also enables EV owners to find the nearest charging stations in various metro cities. Omega Seiki Mobility’s primary goal is to create sustainable mobility solutions focusing on connecting automobiles with society. Currently, the brand uses its resources to focus on creating an eco-friendly, safe, and congestion-free mobility ecosystem.
