Jaguar recently introduced the updated Jaguar I-Pace Black all-electric SUV in the international market. Now the brand has brought updates to the I-Pace electric vehicle, which comes with faster charging. The 2022 update is available in the North American market at the price of USD 69,900 MSRP. The electric crossover also comes with an eight-year / 100,000-mile battery warranty with a 70% state-of-health guarantee. The brand also offers a 5-year / 60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, 5-year / 60,000-mile complimentary scheduled maintenance, 5-year / 60,000-mile 24/7 roadside assistance and also 5-year / unlimited-mile Jaguar InControl Remote & Protect connected services.

2022 Jaguar I-Pace – Charging Updates

The 2022 Jaguar I-Pace comes with an 11kW onboard charger as standard. This charger is now capable of delivering 53km/33 miles of range per hour. Jaguar says the brand has improved the efficiency of this charger as well through Over-The-Air Updates. But the most significant update is to the fast-charging system. The all-electric SUV can replenish up to 63 miles of range in 15 minutes on a 100-kW DC charger.

2022 Jaguar I-Pace – Infotainment Updates

The Jaguar I-Pace comes with advanced systems, including the infotainment system, battery management system and charging. These can be updated remotely and facilitate improvements to the I-PACE over time. The 2022 model features a new infotainment system and even more driver-focused technology. The brand employs an intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system with simplified menu structures with 90 per cent of everyday tasks from the home screen in two taps or less.

The infotainment system also gets Apple Carplay and Android Auto integration and now comes with the option to connect two smartphones simultaneously. The Pivi Pro infotainment system also shows the charging grid where the I-Pace can get fast charging and the estimated charging at a charging point. The car can also map routes in coordination with the charging grid selecting the optimum chargers to minimize total journey time. Thanks to software over-the-air, the Maps remain up to date, and the infotainment can also display the predicted charge level on arrival at the charging station. The car also features PM2.5 filtration to help filter airborne particles.

2022 Jaguar I-Pace – Exterior Updates

The Jaguar I-Pace also features mild updates to the exterior, including a new Atlas Black grille tip finish. The Atlas Black grille tip goes well with the luxurious Bright Pack option, available on all models. The SUV also features a Noble Chrome grille surround and Atlas Grey door mirror caps. On the side, the 2022 I-Pace also gets Satin Chrome window surrounds and Atlas Grey for the rear diffuser. The car is also available with a Black Pack option and a refreshed colour palette. The colours now include Portofino Blue, Aruba, Caldera Red, and Eiger Grey.
