EVeium Czar electric scooter launched at INR 2.16 lakh

EVeium is the latest entrant into the EV business in India. This is a startup backed by Ellysium Automotives, the Auto arm of United Arab Emirates-based company META4 Group. The demand for EVs in the country is rising at such a high level that we are witnessing new products launched almost every day.

With EVeium, we will see three new products, all of which are high-speed electric scooters. Priced in the range of INR 1.44 lakh to 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom), the scooters will have some good competition to compete against. The three new products are namely, Cosmo, Czar and Comet. In this story, we shall briefly cover Czar. The company mentioned that it will start with the bookings at just INR 999. Customers can avail of this from August 8 2022, at EVeium showrooms in Pune, Hyderabad, Banglore and Calicut.

EVeium Czar – What We Know So Far?

This electric scooter, as mentioned, falls under the fast-speed category. The top speed is 85 kmph, which is the norm for premium EV scooters in India. The company also claims a mileage of 150 km on a full charge. Using Lithium-ion 72V and 42Ah batteries, this scooter has a charging time of 4 hrs. Furthermore, of all the three offerings, Czar is the most powerful as well, with its 4000W Motor capacity. To attract a wide range of audiences, Czar is also available in a wide range of colour options. These include – Glossy Black, Matt Black, Glossy Red, Light Blue, Mint Green, and White.

As a scooter in the 2022 era, customers demand a host of features in their products. Thus, to keep up with the competition, Czar does live up to the expectation. Key highlighting features include Multiple Speed Modes (Eco, Normal and Sport), Anti-Theft feature, Keyless Start, Regenerative braking, Mobile App Connectivity, Find my Vehicle feature, latest LCD Display, Real-time Tracking, Over-speed Alert, and Geofencing, among others. For convenience, Czar also gets a Reverse Gear that adds to the flexibility. Braking power comes from a disc set up both for the front and rear. EVeium has put on a sticker price of INR 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom) for this retro-based electric scooter.
