Emflux working on ‘TWO’ new electric street bikes, 0-100 in 3.6 seconds

While we have not seen their much hyped Emflux One electric sportsbike out on the streets yet, Emflux, an EV manufacturer is now gearing up to introduce 2 new products in the naked street bike segment. Yes, these two naked motorcycles will also have impressive performance claims, and they are technically the same motorcycles in 2 states of tune.

Emflux will introduce the Two & Two+ models in India and have released a teaser image. The Two will have a top speed of 160 kmph, 0-100 kmph sprint time of 4.5 seconds and a battery riding range of 160 km. The Two+ will have a top speed of 180 kmph, 0-100 time of 3.6 seconds and a riding range of 200 km. The teaser images reveal that the bike will have sharp design details and will feature sculpted fuel tank with shrouds, full digital floating instrument console, LED turn indicators, single-piece handlebar, LED turn indicators, bikini fairing with possible projector headlamp setup and USD forks. Other details about the Two & Two+ are unavailable at the moment.

We’re expecting Emflux to reveal both these motorcycles at the 2020 Auto Expo, just like they did with the Emflux One. Emflux also wants to introduce two-wheelers in the budget segment for better volumes, which would boost business and support these high performance model manufacturing. However, the brand remains to stay at the premium end of the segment, so do not expect their products to rival the likes of Okinawa.

The Emflux One is taking time in the design and development, hence the bikes have not rolled out to customers yet. The brand is working on developing all parts and components in-house.

Now, all the performance numbers surely sound exciting, but the problem with the EV infrastructure remains. Where will you charge it? How many times will you charge it? Will the bike be ready to go as and when you want, or you will always need to plan a simple bike ride?
