Ducati reveals Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro anniversary special

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Ducati unveils Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro to commemorate 50 years of the nameplate. Alongside this, Ducati has also revealed the Scrambler 1100 Urban Motorrad. Both these launches happened during the second episode of the 2022 World Premier series. Ducati had launched the first Scrambler in the year 1971, i.e. 50 years ago from today. And hence the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro is an anniversary special edition.

Visual cues like the iconic Ducati logo along with the Giallo Ocra colour scheme complete the retro look of the motorcycle. This is the perfect edition to reflect upon Ducati’s past and feel nostalgia about it. Ducati Scrambler is a retro-themed motorcycle that does attract quite a lot of attention. And with this special edition, Ducati will further be the talk of the town.

Engine Specifications

This special edition does not get any mechanical updates and hence share the same hardware setup as the regular trim. Powering the motorcycle is a 1,079cc L-Twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 84.49 BHP and 88 Nm of torque. The motor is matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking setup consists of discs at both front and rear. Ducati uses fully-adjustable Marzocchi suspension at the front and preload and rebound adjustable Kayaba mono-shock at the rear. Riders who often go out for weekend trips will find the fuel capacity of 15 litres adequate.

Tech and Features

Given the price range, customers will expect quite a handful of features in the list. Ducati does live up to the expectation as the motorcycle gets, multiple riding modes, ride-by-wire and full LED lights, full-colour TFT instrument cluster, cornering ABS and traction control system and more.

Will India Launch Happen?

Currently, Ducati India is selling the Scrambler 1100 as CBU. The price range starts at INR 7,99,000 (ex-showroom). Customers get two colour options, black and yellow. The only rival to the Ducati 1100 in India is the Triumph Scrambler 1200. We can expect Ducati to launch the 1100 Tribute Pro in India sometime in 2022.
