Ducati Panigale V4 launched in India for INR 20.53 lakh

Ducati India has announced that bookings for the Panigale V4 are now open in India. This motorcycle, which is the closest street-legal Ducati to their MotoGP contender, will be available only in a limited numbers initially. Ducati India will retail only 20 units of the 2018 Panigale V4 here in India for now. Deliveries will commence in July 2018

Bookings for the Panigale V4 need to be made before 31st May, and an exclusive numbered memorabilia will be handed to the owners. Also, the first 2 customers to buy the Panigale V4 will win a sponsored Ducati Riding Experience course which will be held in June 2018 in Malaysia at the Sepang MotoGP circuit.

The Panigale V4 is the first Ducati motorcycle to sport a 4-cylinder engine. This Desmosedici Stradale engine is a 1,103 cm³ 90° V4 unit with Desmodromic timing producing 214 HP @ 13,000 RPM, making the Panigale V4 the most powerful bike in the segment along with torque output of 123.56 Nm @ 10,000 RPM.

The Panigale V4 has a kerb weight 195 kg for the S variant, which means that the power to weight ratio is 1.1 HP / kg.

Electronics package includes ABS Cornering Bosch EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick shift up & down, Engine Brake Control EVO and Ducati Electronic Suspension EVO

The bike also comes with three Riding Modes (Race, Sport and Street).

The Ducati Panigale V4 will be sold in two variants; Panigale V4 & Panigale V4 S. The latter comes with Öhlins suspension featuring Smart EC 2.0 system with new adjustment interface and top-drawer components such as forged aluminium wheels and the lithium ion battery.

The Panigale V4 and V4 S have been priced at INR 20,53,000 & INR 25,29,000 (Ex-showroom India) respectively.
