Ducati offers Monster with new Iceberg White paint scheme

Written by Tanisha Arora

Ducati Monster will now be available in the market with an updated paint scheme. The new color scheme of Iceberg White will soon be displayed in the market. The new color palette provides an insight into the brand’s contemporary style and sports-oriented details. The new colour palette will be in addition to the existing Red and Aviator Grey colours. With Iceberg White as the base paint, the theme gets a red saddle and red tags on the rims of the wheels. One of the reasons to upgrade the color scheme was to give a stronger competition to Triumph Street Triple.

What’s new in the updated Ducati Monster?

Along with the new colors, the Plus variant of Monster will be updated with an additional front fairing and a pillion seat cowl. The technicalities of Monster however remain more or less the same. The aluminum front frame allows the dry weight of the bike to be 166 kg. The seat height of the bike is 820mm. However, the seat height can be changed to 800mm via an additional accessory – a low seat. This can further be reduced to 775 mm with additional accessories like a low seat and a low suspension kit.

The 2024 model will see a change in the re-proportioned bison-back tank. It is now more compact with increased rider comfort and improved ergonomics. In addition to the bison-back tank, the signature headlight will be recessed into the shoulders and the tail will remain streamlined.

What remains the same?

The usage of LED lighting, cornering ABS and traction control remain as before. The Ducati Monster, even in its Plus Variant, will be available in 3 riding modes – Sport, Road and Wet. Abiding by the 937cc, twin-cylinder, liquid cooled engine, it will be linked to a 6-speed gearbox that delivers 111 hp at 9,250 rpm and provides 93 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. Standard equipment consists of Ducati quick shift (up & down), Ducati wheelie control, Smart Power Mode, Ducati power launch, 4.3” TFT display, turn indicators and USB power socket.
