Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro launched at INR 19.99 lakh

Ducati has launched the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, the brand’s flagship adventure tourer in India at the price of INR 19.99 lakhs ex-showroom, India. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is made for riders who would want to combine off-road capabilities and highway touring capabilities.

The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is powered by a Ducati Testastratta DVT 1,262cc, L-twin, four-valves per cylinder, twin-spark, liquid-cooled engine with Desmodromic Valve Timing that develops 158 PS of power and 128 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of hardware, the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro gets a tubular steel trellis frame with 48mm fully adjustable upside-down front fork with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment and EVO Ducati Skyhook Suspension system (DSS). The rear suspension consists of a fully adjustable monoshock suspension with electronic compression, rebound damping and preload adjustment with EVO Ducati Skyhook Suspension. 

The bike gets a 19-inch tubeless spoked wheel in light alloy shod in 120/70 Pirelli Scorpion Trail II or Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres on the front and a 17-inch tubeless spoked wheel in light alloy shod in 170/60 Pirelli Scorpion Trail II or Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres on the rear. Braking comes from twin 320mm hydraulically operated discs with radially mounted Brembo calipers on the front and a single hydraulic disc on the rear equipped with a Bosch cornering ABS unit.

The electronic package consists of a new 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) controls, Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), 8-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Cruise control, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), etc.

The bike also comes with 5-inch TFT colour display with user-friendly switch gear controls and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) which connects to the user’s smartphone via Bluetooth and can be used for multimedia functions like incoming calls, text messaging and music. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro features a large 30-litre fuel tank for a range of around 450 km and the new Multistrada 1260 Enduro gets revised ergonomic seat, handlebar and an improved centre of gravity along with new semi-active Sachs suspension unit.

The bookings on the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkatta, Chennai and Hyderabad and the bike comes in two colour options Ducati Red and Sand.
