Ducati has launched the new Multistrada 1260 & 1260 S models in India at an introductory price tag starting from INR 15.99 lakh and INR 18.06 lakh respectively. Bookings are open for the new Multistrada across all Ducati dealerships and deliveries shall commence by the end of June 2018.
Powering the new Multistrada 1260 is a new 1262cc, Testastretta DVT, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 158 HP of power and 129.5 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. Ducati claims that 85% of the total torque is now available under 3500 RPM mark and is 18% better than the older model. The new Multistrada 1260 comes with ride-by-wire technology, quickshifter for up & down, longer swing arm and wheelbase, new front geometry which altogether make the motorcycle more dynamic.
This sport-touring adventure motorcycle, the Multistrada 1260 S gets Y-spoke alloy wheels, LED headlamps, cornering lights. Both models also sport bluetooth connectivity.
In terms of latest electronic features, the bike comes with Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Cruise Control, Backlit handlebar switches, Ducati Multimedia System (DMS)
