Ducati has launched the new SuperSport 950 in the Indian market with a starting price tag of INR 13.49 lakh ex-showroom. The Ducati SuperSport will be available in two trims – SuperSport 950 and SuperSport 950 S. The higher-spec SuperSport 950 S will come with a sticker price of INR 15.49 lakh ex-showroom. The brand is offering the SuperSport 950 with a single Ducati Red colour, while the SuperSport 950 S is available in the Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk colourway.
Ducati SuperSport 950 – Colour Theme
The Ducati SuperSport 950 comes with a’ Ducati Red bodywork with Ducati Red frame and Glossy Black wheel rims’. The SuperSport 950 comes with the same paint theme along with a ‘Ducati Red tag’. The SuperSport 950 also features an ‘Arctic White Silk fairing with Ducati Red frame and Glossy Black wheel rims. The Arctic White paint theme also comes with a ‘Ducati Red tag’.
Ducati SuperSport 950 – Engine Specifications
Powering the SuperSport 950 is a 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11-degree twin-cylinder engine that complies with BS6 standards. The engine produces 110 Hp of power and 93 Nm of torque. The engine also comes with a compression ratio of 12.6:1 and features a secondary air system as well as a liquid cooling system.
Ducati SuperSport 950 – Mechanical Specifications
The Ducati SuperSport 950 comes with a trellis frame with the engine working as a stressed member. The bike also features an aluminium single-sided swingarm. The SuperSport 950 comes with a 43mm diameter Marzocchi front fork with fully adjustable hydraulics and preload. On the rear, the motorcycle comes with a Sachs shock absorber with spring preload adjustment.
The SuperSport 950 S features a 48mm multi-adjustable Ohlins suspension with TiN treatment on the front. The rear suspension is fully adjustable Ohlins mono-shock, with an integrated gas tank. Braking power comes from twin 320 mm discs with Brembo M4-32 monobloc radial callipers with a Brembo self-bleeding radial pump. The rear comes with a 245 mm diameter disc, and the braking system comes with a customizable Bosch Cornering ABS.
Ducati SuperSport 950 – Features
The Ducati SuperSport 950 comes with three Riding Modes – Sport, Touring, Urban. The bike also comes with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) EVO up/down quick-shifter, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO, and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO. The bike also gets Full-LED headlights with LED DRLs and full-TFT colour TFT instrumentation. The motorcycle also comes with a waterproof USB socket, anti-theft alarm, heated grips, and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS) as an accessory.
Ducati SuperSport 950 – Warranty & Service Interval
Ducati SuperSport 950 comes with 24 months, unlimited km warranty and maintenance intervals of 15,000 km/2 years. Ducati has also announced that the SuperSport 950 and SuperSport 950 S bookings have already commenced with immediate deliveries.
