Ducati launches Streetfighter V4 SP in India at INR 34.99 lakh

Ducati has announced the launch of the new Streetfighter V4 SP in the Indian market. The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP comes with a price tag of INR 34.99 lakh ex-showroom. The latest version expands the Streetfighter family and combines the Borgo Panigale’s “Fight Formula” with “SP” specifications. Thanks to this, the power-to-weight ratio of the Streetfighter V4 S is further improved on the naked motorcycle. The brand also revealed that the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP bookings are now open at all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi & Kolkata, and deliveries start with immediate effect.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP – Overview

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP is the top-of-the-line naked sports bike in the Ducati Streetfighter family. The “SP” in the moniker stands for “Sport Production”. The “SP” specifications combined with Ducati’s “Fight Formula” offers special technical equipment and the apex power-to-weight ratio of the Streetfighter V4 S, making the motorcycle even more effective on the race track. The Streetfighter V4 SP comes with 196.5 kg weight on the kerb thanks to the equipment derived from the Superleggera V4. Thus, the bike weighs 2.5 kg less than the already light Streetfighter V4 S.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP – Design and Livery

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP comes with a special Winter Test livery in matte black. The colourway also includes bright red details along with a brushed aluminium fuel tank. Ducati Centro Stile has drawn inspiration of the livery from the Ducati Corse motorcycles ridden in pre-season tests of MotoGP and SBK Championships. The livery includes a progressive number printed on the handlebar and the Italian flag colour scheme on the carbon wings. Ducati also offers the Streetfighter V4 SP with a specific saddle customised with the “V4 SP” logo and an open clutch cover made of carbon fibre.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP – Technical Specifications

Powering the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP is a Desmosedici Stradale 1,103cc 90-degree V4 engine. The engine features MotoGP-derived, Desmodromic valve distribution as well as a counter-rotating crankshaft. The “Twin Pulse” firing order on the engine helps deliver 208 hp of power @ 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm of torque @ 9,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a 9-disc STM EVO-SBK dry clutch.
