Ducati India has announced the launch of the Panigale V2 Black, priced at an ex-showroom cost of INR 20.98 Lakh. This launch marks a significant addition to Ducati’s prestigious Panigale line-up, known for its performance and style.
Black All the Way
The Panigale V2 Black emerges as a striking variant that commands attention with its all-black gloss-finished paint scheme. The design, which borrows its language from the flagship Panigale V4, is accentuated with contrast red stickering across the bodywork. The black alloy wheels are detailed with a red pinstripe on the rim, adding a touch of elegance to its stealthy appearance.
Power and Features
Underneath its captivating exterior, the Panigale V2 Black houses a 955 cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a robust 155 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and is supported by an aluminium monocoque frame with a single-sided aluminium swingarm.
Riders can expect an exceptional handling experience, thanks to the 43 mm Showa USD front forks and a Sachs-sourced monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable. The braking system comprises 320 mm twin front discs with Brembo Monoblock M 4.32 calipers and a single 245 mm rear disc with two-piston calipers. The bike is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II rubber, ensuring a grip that matches its aggressive performance.
The Panigale V2 Black is not just about power and poise; it’s also equipped with cutting-edge technology. The motorcycle features a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console, multiple riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control (EBC), and a bi-directional quickshifter. These electronic aids ensure that the rider can tailor the bike’s performance to their riding style and the conditions of the road.
With bookings that began in April and deliveries set to commence soon, the Panigale V2 Black is poised to become the new benchmark for mid-range superbikes in India. For those looking to own a piece of this superbike legacy, the Panigale V2 Black is a choice that promises to deliver exhilaration with every twist of the throttle.
