Italian superbike brand, Ducati has launched a range of Racing Accessories for the Ducati Panigale V4 that transforms the supersport bike into a track attract machine all while giving the Panigale V4 visual enhancements of a Race-Replica. Ducati has also introduced a virtual motorcycle ‘Configurator’ on the brand’s official website that allows the Ducatisti to customize their Ducati by selecting the special parts and accessories.
The racing accessories package includes:-
A special Titanium Alloy Exhaust System developed by Ducati Corse technicians in collaboration with Slovenian performance parts manufacturer ‘Akrapovič’ and derived from the Ducati Panigale V4 bikes ridden by Chaz Davies and Scott Redding in the World Superbike Championships. The exhaust system not only reduces the overall weight of the bike, but the special titanium alloy also gives greater heat resistance to high temperatures. The Panigale V4 also sees an enhanced power to weight ratio upon installation of the new exhaust system.
The Titanium Exhaust is also supplied with a Race-Derived Polyester Air Filter that not only improves the airflow allowing more breathing but also offers excellent filtering and easy maintenance. Additionally, the high-performance exhaust system comes with its own Map, which adapts all parameters of DTC – DWC – DPL and Slide on demand to the motorcycle’s new performance. The Racing exhaust also gives increased aural pleasure and provides visual enhancements making the Panigale V4 a Race-Replica.
To complete the Panigale’s racing look Ducati offers a Set of Fairings – headlight fairing and headlight covers, made of high-quality plastic materials to ensure strength and stability also improving the Panigale look. The accessory also includes Oversized Headlight Fairing derived from the motorcycles used in the SBK world championship, made of transparent high-quality plastic to improve aerodynamic efficiency even in slow speeds.
Other accessories include a Carbon and Titanium Swingarm Cover that offers protection in event of a slip as well as enhancing the bikes look, Carbon Protection for Generator Cover a lightweight accessory that offers protection to the generator in event of a slip, Mirror Hole Covers – manufactured in partnership with Rizoma, close the mirror holes left after the rearview mirrors are removed for track use, Number Plate Holder removal set – a special cover to close the holes left by the removal of the number plate holder for the use of the motorcycle on track, Carbon Frame Cover – a lightweight protective accessory made of carbon fibre to protect the bike’s frame, Carbon Chain Guard – a lightweight & strong carbon fibre accessory which is mandatory on some tracks and for some championships, Brake Lever Protection – an accessory made out of anodised materials, developed in collaboration with Rizoma to prevent accidental brake activation, equipped with a counterweight to ensure stability, Brake Lever Protection Adapter Set – CNC machined anodised aluminium designed for mounting brake lever protection set, and Anti-Slip Side Stickers for the tank made of high definition rubber (HDR) technology that increases the grip with the rider’s suit, to ensure maximum stability.
The Ducati Performance catalogue is designed by the Ducati Design Centre in collaboration with other companies that ensure maximum performance, lightened weight and enhance the racing look of the Panigale V4.
