All details of the DC Avanti have now bee revealed.
The made-in-India sportscar from DC is expected to be delivered to customers by early 2015. The car will command a price tag of ~ Rs. 35 lakh ex-showroom and bookings have already commenced for Rs. 5 lakh.
Powering the DC Avanti is a 2.0L, turbocharged, Euro-5 complaint petrol motor producing 250 BHP of power @ 5,500 RPM and 366 Nm of torque @ 3,500 RPM. The sportscar is a rear wheel drive with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Avanti can achieve a 0-100 stint within 6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 180 kmph. The car gets all 4 disc brakes equipped with ABS.
