Written by Parichay Malvankar

Datsun has launched special edition variants of the Go & Go+ in India. Dubbed as the Remix Edition, the Go has been priced at INR 4.21 lakh while the Go+ has been priced at INR 4.99 lakh. Both these Remix Editions, of the Go & Go+ only feature cosmetic changes over the standard trims.

Bookings for the Go & Go+ Remix Edition are now open.

On the outside, the Datsun Go Remix Edition is painted in black with orange body decals. The Go+ Remix edition comes painted in white & orange shades with a lot of black used as well. Both cars also get a new rear spoiler, black wheel covers, black grille, chrome finish on exhaust & chrome accents on the bumper.

Inside, both the cars now sport piano black finish on the dashboard, new seat covers, remote keyless entry & bluetooth audio system.

Both, the Go & Go+ come powered by a 1.2:, 68 BHP petrol motor matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Datsun has been working hard to increase sales of the Go, redi-GO & Go+ cars in our market. These budget cars offer decent space, and score decent on practicality. However, the buyers now want much more than just a low cost product, and are willing to pay more for better build quality.

Datsun will also launch a crossover based on the Go+ MPV in the near future. This has been showcased abroad, and can be expected to be seen on Indian roads later this year or in 2019.
