Datsun Go & Go+ get ‘Stability Control’

Datsun India has announced the introduction of a new segment-first feature in terms of safety called Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) which will provide enhanced safety on the new Datsun GO and GO+ variants. The new Datsun GO range will also be available in a new colour option called ‘Vivid Blue’.

The new feature enhances the cars safety quotient via the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC). The onboard sensors monitor the vehicles wheel speed, steering wheel position and lateral acceleration through the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system and the car can respond to oversteer and understeer through the electronic stability program, providing a safer driving experience. The new Datsun GO and GO+ also come with safety features like dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD, brake assist, traction control system, etc.  

The updated Datsun GO and GO+ feature a 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and voice recognition, multi-information display with trip computers, front powered windows, tinted glass, 12V power outlet, follow me home headlights and more.

The exterior of the car comes with a hexagonal grille in silver and chrome accent on top-end variants, LED daytime running lights on top-end variants, roof antenna and 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels on the top-end variant. The Datsun GO and GO+ are powered by a 1,198cc, naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder, DOHC petrol engine that produces 68 PS of power and 104 Nm of torque coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.
