Dandera Otua 3Wheeler Cargo EV – Highlights

The company claims Otua is the first cargo EV designed as an electric vehicle from the ground up. Furthermore, it claims it is a 100 per cent indigenous product. This is because the brand designed and manufactured all of its parts and components as well as batteries in India.

The Dandera Otua has a unique aerodynamic design that is unlike any other offerings in its segment. Dandera claims it reduces drag by 25 per cent over comparable vehicles. The design and the windscreen allow for best-in-class road visibility for drivers. The company claims it is India’s roomiest and air-conditioning compatible driver cabin. It also gets a host of tech features, such as its own Driver and Fleet management app.

When compared to currently available cargo 3-wheelers in the L5 segment, the Otua offers the highest range of 165 km on a single charge. Dandera says this is further expandable to over 300 km. As per Dandera, the Otua also offers the industry’s highest load-carrying capacity of 900 kg. Furthermore, it also offers the industry’s largest carrying volume of 183 CC.
