Cyborg Bob-e electric motorbike for India revealed

One of India’s emerging EV startups, Ignitron Motocorp Pvt. Ltd., has announced the launch of its Cyborg Bob-e motorcycle in India. The company specializing in building customized vehicles and sound engineering launched the electric off-road based motorcycle with AI-enabled technology. Ignitron Motocorp states that it has aimed the Bob-e electric bike for youngsters with elevated lifestyles and for environmental conservation. The company aims to redefine electric mobility in India with the Bob-e, which sports two colours – Black and Red.

Cyborg Bob-e: Details

Preview images of the new Cyborg Bob-e showcase the electric motorcycle’s unique styling with a sharp yet tall mudflap. The electric off-road-based motorcycle features a protective cowl, LED headlamp, a long seat, and disc brakes at both ends. Ignitron Motocorp has equipped the Cyborg Bob-e with a 2.88 kWh lithium-ion battery that can offer 110 Km of range. With three riding modes  – Eco, Normal, and Sport, the electric motorcycle can achieve a top speed of 85 km/h.

Additionally, Ignitron has equipped the e-bike with convenience features like Geolocation/Geo-fencing, battery status, USB charging, and Bluetooth connectivity. Along with Keyless ignition and a Digital Cluster, the e-bike features a portable, weather-proof, and touch-safe battery pack. Customers can completely charge the battery of the Cyborg Bob-e using a 15 amp Fast Home Charger within 4-5 hours. Other details of the e-bike include a reverse mode, cruise control, telescopic front forks, and a fully-adjustable monoshock rear suspension.

Cyborg as a brand and its future 

Ignitron Motocorp’s Cyborg brand represents an all-electric motorcycling experience, with the Yoda being its first product in India. The brand’s first ‘Made in India’ electric cruiser motorcycle sports a swappable 3.24 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. The Cyborg Yoda sports a top speed of 90km/h with a claimed range of 150 Km and multiple features. These include Geolocation/Geo-fencing, battery status, USB charging, Bluetooth, Keyless ignition, and a digital instrument cluster.

Ignitron offers the Cyborg Yoda in 2 colours – Black and Silver, which can charge to 100% in 4-5 hours. The company states that it is working on building a robust sales and service network across various regions of India. Ignitron has also decided to host SOS (roadside assistance) and place battery swapping stations for Cyborg customers after every kilometre. Customers can then use the battery swapping stations to charge their swappable batteries up to 50% within 30 minutes.
