Written by Parichay Malvankar

Ducati has officially made a statement that by the year 2020, all of their bikes will come equipped with radar based technologies. Ducati will be giving a lot of focus on rider safety on all of their models, and the Italian brand has already started working on it. Ducati has already mentioned that all of their motorcycles will now come equipped with cornering ABS system, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 is already on sale with this feature.

Ducati will redefine motorcycle safety features as per their strategy until 2025.

ARAS (Advance Rider Assistace Systems) with multiple sensors including radar frequency will help prevent possible collisions with obstacles or other vehicles on the streets. This will alert the rider in a bid to ensure a safer ride. Ducati has begun working on these systems since 2016. When this technology comes into play, the bike will also be able to alert the rider about objects in their blind spot or even traffic approaching them at a higher speed. The radar sensor placed at the front will also assist in adaptive cruise control.

A Bosch Cornering ABS system will be fit on all Ducati motorcycles in due course of time.
