Citroen will add more features to C3 & C3 Aircross in India

Written by News Team

Citroen, the French automaker, has announced plans to introduce new features to its C3 and C3 Aircross models in India. The updates are expected to arrive before the festive season, aiming to attract more customers and boost sales.

Current Features

The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross are part of Citroen’s C-Cubed programme in India. The C3 Aircross SUV currently offers intuitive features like a 17.78cm Intelli–Smart TFT Cluster, a 26 cm Infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and an Advanced Tech Suite with ESP, Hill Hold, TPMS & Engine Stop/Start.

Citroen Response to Criticism

Despite their unique design and benchmark comfort, both models have faced criticism for their lack of features. For instance, the C3 Aircross, which competes against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and other C-segment SUVs, lacks some essential features such as an auto AC function or even a foldable key.

In response to this criticism, Citroen India has stated that they are looking forward to introducing updates to the C3 range of models in India. These updates will include additional features to make the model feel more modern and contemporary.

Upcoming Features

The upcoming Citroen C3 range of models is expected to get features such as a folding key and auto climate control. While these new features are likely to attract more attention from potential customers in India, they still do not completely address the issue.

To counter this, Citroen is likely to launch the facelifted version of the C3 and C3 Aircross models in India. These updated models are expected to hit the Indian automobile market before the middle of 2025. The facelifted models of the Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross are expected to come with more modern features such as LED headlights, powered ORVMs, automatic climate control, and a more upmarket-looking digital instrument cluster.

Citroen Future Plans

In addition to the updates, Citroen India is also looking forward to launching a new model in India, the C3X Crossover. This model will have the shape of a sedan, the high ground clearance of an SUV, a coupe-like roofline, and is likely to sport a notchback tailgate.

Citroen India is expected to dispatch C3 and C3 Aircross models with updated features soon to attract more customers ahead of the upcoming festive season in India. A slight price hike is also expected as soon as the updated models start dispatching.
