Citroen has updated the C3 and C3 Aircross in the Indian market. The brand has added a few extra features that were missing in the car at the time of its launch. Expect the cars to come with a slight bump in the pricing when the brand introduces it to the market.
Citroen C3 Aircross Updates
The new features on the C3 Aircross include 6-airbags, LED headlamps, automatic climate control, and a larger sliding front armrest. In addition to this, the C3 Aircross also gets rear AC vents which are much needed especially in the hot and humid parts of India. The company has also changed the position of the power windows from the centre to the door cards and the SUV also comes with a new flip style key. Thanks to this, the C3 Aircross will be able to defend its position in the highly competitive mid-size SUV market which currently has the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate and more.
Citroen C3 Updates
The C3, on the other hand comes with a new automatic climate control, auto folding outside mirrors, a new 7-inch digital instruments cluster as well as LED projector headlamps. Thanks to the new features on the C3, the car is likely to attract more buyers especially in the tech-savvy gen-z segment. The Citroen C3 will also be capable to fend of its competition in the sub-compact SUV segment, which has the Hyundai Exter and the Tata Punch.
Citroen Basalt
Soon the French brand also plans to add another product in the coupe-SUV, the Citroen Basalt. The Basalt is also likely to be armed to its teeth in terms of features. While the brand has not revealed the car fully, expect the basalt to come with LED projector Headlamps, LED tail lamps, digital instruments cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system and more. The Basalt is also likely to come with a dashboard which will be similar to the C3 Aircross, however, the central console is likely to have some differentiating factors. Expect the interiors to be more premium than the C3 Aircross which includes premium and ergonomic seats.
