Citroen has launched the all-electric Ë-C3 in India. The electric hatchback is offered in four variants and prices vary from INR 11,50,000 to INR 12,43,000. This car will be built at the company plant in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.
Features of the Citroen Ë-C3
Offered in two variants, namely the Live and Feel, it gets features like a three-spoke steering wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also boasts over 35 connected car features.
Powertrain of the Citroen Ë-C3
Citroen has equipped the eC3 with an electric motor that is mounted at the front. This motor generates 56 BHP and 143 Nm of peak torque. A 29.2 kWh battery pack has been paired with this motor. It gets a 3.3 kWh AC charger.
The company claims a 0-60 km/h time of 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 107 Km/h. The claimed ARAI range is 320 km. The battery takes 10.5 hours to charge using a home charger while it takes just 57 mins for a 10-80 percent top up using a DC fast charger.
In terms of warranty, the company is offering a bunch of options. These include a 5Y / 200k km warranty for B2B offerings and a 5Y / 140k Km for B2C. Extended Warranty Add-ons include a 7Y / 200k km for B2B on the eMotor and the battery while the B2C will get a eMotor warranty of 7Y / 140k Km.
Availability of the Citroen Ë-C3
Initially, the Ë-C3 will be available in 25 cities. These include New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut, Guwahati, Bhopal, Karnal, Dehradun, Rajkot, Mangalore and Coimbatore. Additionally, all the French showrooms will be equipped with a DC Fast Charger which is offered by Jio-BP.
The car is also available for direct buying for the factory. Customers located in major cities can order the car online and Citroen will deliver it at their doorstep.
