Citroen would be launching their first product for India, the C5 Aircross SUV in 2020. This all-new SUV from an all-new brand for India is expected to be showcased to the public at the 2020 Auto Expo along with other Citroen cars. Now, the French car manufacturer which is a part of Groupe PSA has revealed that they would introduce cars with leasing option from day 1. With Citroen Lease, customers do not need to own / purchase the car 100%, but rather lease it for a set period of time while also having the option to buy it upfront at the end of the lease tenure. This will allow flexible and easy ownership options for those considering to buy a Citroen car in India.

Citroen has partnered with ALD automotive for leasing solutions.

The C5 Aircross SUV would be launched before the end of 2020 and would be the brands first car in India. With this new Citroen Lease program, the brand intends to attract more buyers, all of which would be the first time buyers for the brand in India obviously. Car leasing is the most preferred method of car ownership worldwide and Indian customers are showing more interest in this with each passing day. With monthly lease rental plans along with optional maintenance solutions, the Citroen range of cars will try to offer peace of mind to customers, especially to those who might be wary of a new brand entering India.

With leasing, customers get the benefit of no upfront cost of ownership, no financial risks like depriciation, tax management, easy upgrade options along with easy maintenance and insurance solutions.

The C5 Aircross SUV from Citroen when launched will sit in the premium SUV segment. It will be a rival to the likes of Jeep Compass in the Indian market and it will be sold as a 5-seater premium SUV.
