Citroen has added another new “La Maison Citroën” PHYGITAL showroom as a part of its expansion drive. The French carmaker has now ventured into the city of Hyderabad. Located at Pride, #8-2-686/B/12 A and B, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana 500034. This is one of 20 showrooms that Citroen India is targeting to open by July 2022. Currently, the carmaker has 9 La Maison PHYGITAL showrooms in the country. This includes Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut and Coimbatore. Citroen confirmed that this showroom in Hyderabad will offer a test drive experience and full-fledged After-Sales services.
Innovative Phygital Concept For Showrooms
Leveraging the digital trend, these showrooms will incorporate numerous screens debuting the ATAWADAC experience (AnyTime AnyWhere AnyDevice AnyContent). There’s also a unique High Definition 3D configurator that allows customers to experience the product with a 360° view. Alongside this, customers will also have the option of a wide range of personalisation and customisation options. With this PHYGITAL concept, Citroen aims to bring a revolution in the way an Indian car consumer looks at his car purchasing journey.
Citroen C3 To Arrive Soon
This funky-looking hatchback will play a pivotal role in determining the success of Citroen in India. Based on the new “C Cubed” platform, C3 will pave the way for two more models expected to arrive by 2024. All these three models will aim to generate interest in both Indian as well as international markets. With the quirky design, the C3 will resonate perfectly with India’s ever-evolving young and dynamic crowd.
The hatchback will have two engine options, PureTech 82 and PureTech 110. The first one is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine, while the latter is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. Both the engines will only get manual gearbox options. Surprisingly there’s no automatic gearbox option just as of yet. Citroen has confirmed that the C3 will be launched in India on 20th July 2022. Thus we can expect the hatchback to hit the roads by early August.
