The newly raised price tag will be effective for all the models from July 1, 2025. While the exact details for the individual models are not known yet, the brand has said that the price hike will be 1.5% at maximum.

Speaking of the brand’s performance in India, it has been doing quite average. While its ICE models like the Hector and Astor are doing average sales, the electric car models like the Comet and Windsor have kept the brand alive till now.

The future plans of the brand include new model launches like the MG M9 MPV and the upcoming Gloster SUV facelift, which are likely to launch in the coming months.

The EV sales have generated enough confidence in the Chinese brand that it will also debut its first two-door sports car, Cyberster, in India by the end of this year.
