As visible in the photos, the electric Corvette concept has a unique design that has taken inspiration from fighter jets for aesthetics as well as functionality.

The front fascia is dominated by a long sweeping bonnet design that has a Corvette logo embedded on it. Moreover, the lower portion of the car features the complex battery and electric motor setup with large aero dams.

Another interesting design highlight is the inverted L-shaped LED DRLs that make it appear more like a fighter jet from the front. Additionally, the front and rear windscreens are divided by a spine line which also acts as a support for the gullwing doors.

The strikingly beautiful side profile is enhanced by the multi-spoke 21-inch front alloy wheels and 22-inch rear alloy wheels. All four quarters get curved wheel arches that also provide aerodynamic support.

Chevrolet has also added the Aero Duality fan assist feature on the concept model, which has been taken over from the current Corvette. This feature helps in creating a smooth air flow on the lower and upper half of the car to provide better stability and efficiency.

Upcoming Corvette to get inspiration

As per the officials, the design and technology used to create the concept model will be used in the development of the new-gen Corvette sports car.

Features like the aerodynamic design and other performance-related aspects will be shared and improvised on the production-spec next-generation Corvette.

The new-gen Corvette model is believed to debut in the global market by 2028.

Our verdict

The electric Corvette concept was announced back in 2022 when the brand stated that it wanted to step into the EV direction with the iconic Corvette. Now, after showing two prototypes at the Goodwood Speed Festival 2025, the final version of the Corvette EV is here. Ironically, it will not make it to production, but its tech and design will through other models.
