MotoExotica, an Uttarakhand-based custom bike modification company has revealed The Ultimate Himalayan. Based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan, the bike is completely revised from its stock form. Here are some details about it.
The Ultimate Himalayan
The front fascia of the Ultimate Himalayan custom bike is made out of carbon fibre. It also holds the fuel tank, headlight and windscreen. Gone are the stock headlamps and in come the custom-made LED units. While the bike does not appear to have turn indicators, it is possible that they are housed in the LED unit itself. It is also possible that as the bike is geared for off-road, the indicators are left out intentionally.
The body parts of the Ultimate Himalayan get carbon fibre treatment. Parts like the knuckle guards, fuel tank and a custom fairing are made from carbon fibre. The carbon fibre work has been done in-house and the curing has been done at MotoExotica.
The bike also gets a G.O.A.T. sticker on its side panels along with Mount Everest’s topography decals.
Mechanical changes to the stock Royal Enfield Himalayan
Not just the cosmetic bits, but the mechanicals have also been tinkered with by the custom house. The stock engine has been bored out and now has a displacement of 500cc. It also gets a high lift cam, a programmable ECU and a custom exhaust with a carbon fibre end tip.
At the back, the bike gets a custom rear subframe. At the front the upside down forks replace the stock telescopic ones. The suspension also gets covers to keep mud and dirt away. The rear suspension gets an adjustable mono-shock suspension.
For the wheels, the bike rides on 21-inch front wire-spoke rims and rear 18-inchers. The tyres are knobby designed for off-road usage. The front brake has also been upgraded to 320 mm discs with 4-pot callipers.
